This page is a big thank you to all our hippie (and not) friends that have help make this project a success.
My friends and family are very important to me. This page was designed to let those special people know just how important they are in my life. I have found as time goes by, that true friends are so very hard to find. Finding a real friend sometimes seems impossible. And yet, in each of our lives we briefly meet or get to know people that will forever impact our lives. So many times in our lives we are much to overworked or overstressed to see what is important in our lives. And, because of this, it seems that we don’t take the time to stop and smell the roses. Or, in many cases, stop and really get to know the people that you really feel connections with. That has always been the way for me. My life has always been high speed, career, family, moving from place to place. It seemed that I was never living in a place long enough to really secure those strong friendships. I was very fortunate during the time my husband and I owned Harley’s Rock Inn, in Lake Hughes, CA. Even though I was always overworked, overstressed, and basically tied to the business all the time, I met some truly incredible people. I wish so deeply, that I had been able to stop and smell the roses, and get to know these people even more than I did. But, the timing was wrong, business was always too demanding. It was during the vandalism of my precious bus “Dubie” that I really found out how much some of the people really meant to me. During this time, many of these people went out of their way to help me.
I would like to thank all the friends who offered words of encouragement every time “Dubie” came out of hiding to show of a new little improvement. How can I ever express my thanks to Jetfuel and all his grease monkeys for their long hours laying layer after layer of primer. Thanks to that great primer job, “Dubie” is rustfree today, even in this rainforest environment. And to you Holmes, thanks for the safe and quiet, and WARM place to paint, including of course my personal security dog. Thanks to the friends with the strong hugs, the back rubs, the Sunday morning breakfast visits, I miss you all so much. And, thank you to my personal escort service to the Port of Long Beach when time came for shipping the bus to Hawaii.
So, times change and we all move on in our lives. Now, my life is much more peaceful and full of beauty. There is time to stop and smell the roses, and maybe even to draw them. My wish is that for all those special people, to also have the time to stop and smell the roses, and think of special friends, times and memories. I hope that someday our paths will cross again, and that we all might be able to stop, take a moment talk story and enjoy the sun, the wave and the feeling of the islands.

7. Loss of ability to worry ( a very serious symptoms)
8. Contented feeling of conceitedness with others & nature. 9. Frequent
attacks of smiling through the eyes from the heart
10. Increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
11. Increased susceptibility to love extended by others, as well as the uncontrollable
urge to extend it.
